HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) has been used by designers, engineers and scientists to produce disposable mechanical products and structural supports. This liquid soluble ABS support material is versatile, economical and impact-resistant. This material can be printed either standalone or as support for over-lengths and holes for ABS parts. It extrudes at 200℃ - 230℃, with an advisable print bed temperature of 110℃
This Grade A filament extrudes precisely for fast printing and consistent layering.
Compatible with most 3D Printers such as Lulzbot, Makertbot, Makergear, Wanhao, Mendel, Printrbot, Felix and many, many more...
3D printing parts/models can be glued with acetone, superglue or MEK.
Do not remove 3D printed parts from the extrusion bed until the parts are cooled down – particularly in the case of using HIPS support material, as it remains pliable.
